The Beginning

The courage to venture out into my own and leave the business process outsource industry was a long journey. I remember waking up one day and deciding that being an employee was no longer an option, I just had to decide to jump from the corporate world into the performing arts. For the ensuing months, I was free to do my first love which was performing. I hosted on and off camera, acted in film and tv and sang again on stage. While my finances were no longer secure and I had to live by faith and take accountability of my decision to be my own boss, I resolved that if God brought me to it, He will bring me through it. I learned as well, that faith only becomes concrete once you take action. And so I had to take action of the dream that was born in my heart at that time. I dreamt of being able to contribute to society by bringing out a person's optimum potential in order for that person to contribute to others as well. I realized that I kept going throughout the years as an employee because I had a purpose and I was able to let others see their purpose as well. As a leader and corporate coach, I was privileged to be motivating, inspiring, empowering and developing individuals. There was collaboration in my team which provided an avenue for my team members to showcase their strengths and capabilities. I was driven because I was able to harness my leadership and performance management skills as I performed my functions. And soon it became clear that it is imperative, just so I could flourish outside of my corporate title and identity and also as a person, that I must create an avenue for me to continue adding value to peoples lives. Fast forward a little over a year later, with the help of my brilliant, patient, and amazingly talented sister, especially with technology and lots and lots of prayers! - Coaching Unlimited was born!

Coaching because it gives me the avenue to use my natural talents and the very skills I have developed for many years as a coach, trainer, supervisor, manager, etc. to help others help themselves. My years of experience has allowed me to meet so many different personalities in very different situations and use a wide range of coaching methods which best fits a specific individual or group, given their unique situations. And as I attended seminars, workshops, learning sessions and proceeded to apply what I learned accordingly, I was able to effectively customize the appropriate intervention needed by a group or individual.

Unlimited because coaching is for anyone and everyone. Whether you are a boss, employee, teacher, student, parent, child etc. There will always be instances when you know you need practical action items to make you achieve a goal, overcome a challenging task, or to make your dreams come to life. Just like that instance in your life when someone pushed, motivated and inspired you to accomplish one of your most valued accomplishments- you actually had yourself a coach which made the burden lighter and the journey less tedious! No matter what industry we may be in, someone who acts as a coach or takes the lead, even without the title, becomes a valuable member of the organization. Age doesn't matter either. Whether young or old, you continue to grow as an individual if you never stop learning. And so we must choose to keep learning, achieving goals, realizing our dreams and simply winning!

The Company

Coaching Unlimited is a coaching company that forges a partnership between a coach and an individual following a process called the Goal Progress System, which aims to achieve a common goal. It is focused on equipping and empowering an individual with an effective and holistic approach in achieving a goal or developing or enhancing a talent or skill. This is done in a set-up where regular coaching, monitoring, and effectiveness check is employed to assess improvement, ensure the progress and consistent optimum performance of each individual.

It is an effective way of ensuring progress in the process of performing an identified action plan. It also monitors the personal growth of each individual which would encourage accountability and increase self-motivation in pursuing and achieving goals or developing and enhancing talents or skills.
